a flock of flamingos carried the sun away last night, but brought it back this morning. phew!

notorious for havin her way with the gentlemen, falling in garbage cans, reading trashy romance novels, making the best stuffed peppers, inhaling tomatoes and sliced cucumbers, collecting black people figurines, being the fastest rosie the riveter in her factory.
she lives in guthrie where everybody knows the name bobbye jean. whatta gal!

zander is more of a flower person than me. my mama grew her garden with ferns, succulents, vines, grasses and so forth all things green.

i don't really take a fancy in growing flowers myself either unitl now.... zander brought home bulbs, bless 'em.

Notes:

with a warm october and november, the bulbs were sitting out on the porch prior to planting them..uh oh. they might have become a little crispy and now are dead, time will tell!

i planted them:

~staggered and in somewhat in a line (which i read is very boring..uh oh again).

~on the east side of the house with only 5ish hours of sun (probably another uh oh, however, the exterior of the house stays warm and might help)

~in well drained soil (compliments of u. kenny)
